About Us Iron Directory is dedicated to iron products for the home and garden. Most of our products have been crafted by hand using traditional techniques and while this means there may be some product variation, you have the knowledge that your purchase is special.
Making A Purchase Making a purchase is easy. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping basket. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to complete your order.

For security reasons, we only accept credit card payments via Protx, our secure credit card processor as used on our website or over the phone. Payment is accepted from the following card types: Delta, MasterCard, Visa and Maestro.

Delivery And Handling For Britain mainland our standard delivery charge is just £5. Additional charges may be necessary for N Ireland, the islands, the north of Scotland and for areas outside the UK. Telephone or email us for a quote.
Delivery Schedule We will acknowledge your order straight away by email. You will receive your order within 5 working days, but often much sooner. If you have a particular requirement for delivery, please contact us by phone or email and we will endeavour to meet your requests.
Tax Charges All prices include UK VAT at 17.5%. Please contact us for deliveries outside the UK.
Credit Card Security We do not receive your credit card numbers, they are sent encrypted straight from your pc to our payment services provider ( www.protx.com ) who then complete the transaction directly with your bank or credit card company. They are not held in clear text on any web site or database

Returns Policy Your rights to return goods are protected under the Consumer Protection (Distant Selling) Regulations 2000 which can be found at http://www.hmso.gov.uk/si/si2000/20002334.htm

You can cancel an order any time up to us dispatching it from our warehouse. If you are not happy with the goods you purchased or the service you have received, please contact us and we will gladly sort out the problem.

We undertake to accept product returns with a no quibble guarantee up to 14 days after you have received them - just contact us beforehand to let us know. If you are not happy with the item, just return it - unused and in its original packaging - within 14 days of receipt, and we will refund the money to you, minus the P&P charge.

Parcels that are returned to us remain the customer's responsibility until they are received by us. So we recommend that you send your returns by recorded post and that you retain proof of postage. Goods are returned at your own expense.
